With just few minutes to go for iOS 5 launch, MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev team has revealed that they plan to bundle the ability to create custom iOS firmware file to preserve the iPhone baseband in Redsn0w - their popular tool instead of launching the PwnageTool for iOS 5.

I'm assuming Apple will release Siri for Ipad2 in a few months, they tend to do that. They may enable it on the iPhone 4 later on also if their servers can handle it and more testing shows the iPhone 4 can handle it. However, knowing them they will just do the iPad2 to coerce you into buying a 4S

Doesn't look like it by their choice of words. It seems as if they couldn't figure it out. We may have to deal with gevey sim. Or pay substantially for factory unlocked. Neither of which I'm looking forward to. I'll keep my fingers crossed though.

iPHONE 4s is jailbroken by dev team coz without jailbreak they cannot access system files of 4S to copy siri.
