iPhone 4 Cases May Not Fit iPhone 4S
If you're planning to use your GSM iPhone 4's case for the new iPhone 4S then we may some bad news for you. It may not fit if you had bought your case especially the iPhone 4 bumper before the Verizon iPhone was launched in early February.

I called apple and said my old bumper i bought in june 2010 wasnt going to fit. they compared old bumper model number to new one they sell now. Then they gave me a free bumper and let me choose what color. overnight shipping coming today. this wont work for everyone, 1st of all depends on the person(Some are nicer then others)and i also had proof of purchase on my apple id.

What they're saying is... the 4S has the same trim pattern & mute switch/volume button layout as the CDMA version of the 4. With that, any case that's specifically designed for the GSM 4 will not fit the 4S. I would assume that cases made specifically for the CDMA 4 will fit the 4S... and the universals mentioned before of course.

If you have one of the silicon bumpers, just take a sharp blade and cut the hole to make it a little larger and it fits perfectly. That's what I did.

Will iPhone 4 Blade Metal Bumper fit the iPhone 4s? I'm just a little worried that it won't fit when i get my 4s tomorrow :(here's the image:http://www.digglove.com/images/2011080903.jpg*by the way, the volume buttons of the iphone don't pop out. there are external buttons set for them.
