We have managed to find an exploit in the 4.6 bootloader which means that new 1.1.2 iPhones will be fully sim unlockable, but the bad is that we can only do this when iPhone software 1.1.3 is released (for technical reasons). This will be a simple, painless, one click install for our customers.

i am definetely giving up my 3rd party apps in one of my iphones! I am installing 1.1.3 as soon as good old itunes ask me to upgrade. About time Apple! finally something worth it to upgrade to.

OH! for those who will soon question Nate's name in his iphone's status bar: whatever is in the user partition remains unchanged. Only the Apple-owned part is affected by 1.1.3. So for those of you who claim that this is a fake because it says "Nate" in the network instead of "AT&T," that's the reason. He changed the network name in 1.1.2 using a program by Erica Sadun, called Make It Mine." EnOuGh SAID!

I think this is very unlawful for locking the iphone . I also believe there is serval lawsuits in order to injuction Apple to remove the lock aswell as to let you to add third party apps

unlock will hopefully be here for FREE within 2 weeks as there is a new baseband with this firmware and the dev team have got hold of the 1.1.3 update (from nate i assume),

isn't it a fake? have a look at all pictures from gearlive. there is a picture which shows the browser with the gearlive website, as you can see the browser shows adobe flash-banners. is it a fake or does the new firmware support flash content?
