iPhone 4S Teardown In Progress; Reveals New 3G Chip & Confirms It Has Only 512MB RAM
After several months of rumors and speculations, Apple's new iPhone 4S will finally be available tomorrow.
Folks at iFixit, the teardown experts are at it again, they’re currently in the process of doing what every geek would love to do i.e. to crack open Apple's new iPhone to see what's inside.

nice... im still debating if i should upgrade to 4s.I have ip4 32gb with bb 1.59.00. Only thing pulling me to upgrade if better camera, and 64gb 4s...

on other mac forum site, it says that iFixit is currently disassembling iPhone4s and confirmed that it has 512MB ram... but here its still not updated? hmmm

Seems to be fabricated.Currently, Siri only supports English (US, UK, and Australia), German and French.Don't think it is restricted to a few countries but features may vary. Here's the fine print from Apple's website:Siri is available in Beta only on iPhone 4S and requires Internet access. Siri may not be available in all languages or in all areas, and features may vary by area.

iFixit hasn't updated their site with that info, so not sure where that came from :)But we've seen several clues that iPhone 4S has only 512MB RAM.

Thanks, that would be very bad if siri would't work in my country at Europe, although i'm speaking english. However in this case we can espect cydia app to enable siri in every country.

But it is not localised for all countries, so it will be interesting to see how it works especially with all the different ascents around the world even for a language like English.

Yeah same with the iPhone 4. or if you look at the ipad or ipad 2 the battery is what takes up all the space lol

I assume to make the battery life better and for stability. I think it's plenty fast enough for anything on the iPhone 4s.

ipad 2 has 512 ram as well.there is no reason for it to have more.ios is very efficient unlike android. thats why there is more profit in apple products.
