Hell no. I don't pay for ringtones, I make my own or use the JB tones. Once we find out how to create and install alert tones, I'll make my own or download and install them. Heck, I already have all the star wars sounds, and a ton of others, as wave files for computer alerts.

I don't understand why already purchased ringtones don't show up in the purchaded tab.It asks if you want to buy them again

What about the Bluetooth and sending files to another phone by B. ?

Is this a iOS5 feature only?

Use QT to make a .caf file of the audio.Name it sms-receivedN.caf (where N is a number between 1 and 7)Use iFile to place it ... hereSystem/Library/Audio/UISoundsDelete one of the sms-receivedN.caf files firstreboot.

You probably know more about it than I do, but wouldn't the possibility of buying more tones mean that there's going to be more than 7 options to select?

Sorry for the confusion, the Tone store is not an iOS 5 only feature, it is also available on iOS 4.x.x as well. But the only way to access the Tone store is via the iTunes app.

Same way you make ringtones! They all go to the same place and can be used for any tone! All I do is look at the top 25 tones and make my own from them.

But whats with the buy?

Easier way... Jailbreak and free yourself fromthe iOS prison!

Your entire ringtone library is now an option... You can make your own 2-4 second ringtones in m4r format - sync and then assign to any system sound.

I thinking choosing a sound for email etc. is a iOS5 only thing.

Where can I get the ringtone used by Russell Crowe in the movie, A Good Year?
