Apple Updates iPad 2 Smart Covers
MacRumors has noticed that Apple has updated its iPad 2 smart cover offerings.
Apple has removed the orange polyurethane cover and replacing it with a new dark gray cover.
MacRumors have also spotted the following changes:
- Interior color now matches exterior color. The interior side of the Smart Cover facing the iPad screen had previously been a uniform gray color on all models with the exception of the (PRODUCT) RED version. All Smart Covers are now a consistent color inside and out.

I like the smart cover but it is way to expensive for what it is, I eventually bought a plastic snap-on back for my iPad because I was afraid that eventually I would see scratches on it, even though when I set the iPad down on the counter, I would put the top facing down so the smart cover would be on the bottom, this definitely helped out. I've heard of other owners just putting the bare back of the iPad on the counter and they are now complaining of scratches.. duh, what do you expect? :)
