Seas0nPass Updated To Support Tethered Jailbreak For Apple TV Software Update 4.4.2 (iOS 5)
FireCore has released an updated version of their jailbreaking tool – Seas0nPass to support tethered jailbreak for Apple TV software update 4.4.x for second generation Apple TV.
Apple had released Apple TV software update 4.4 two weeks back along with iOS 5 and since then released two minor updates to fix some bugs.

Wuuuuuhuuuuu......... NOTIn this case tethered jailbreak is not better than no jailbreak at all.who the hell wants a jailbreak that needs your Apple TV to be turned on 24/7?

Your Apple TV doesn't have to be "turned on" 24/7. I have the Apple TV 2 and it just needs to remain plugged in. You can still use the "power" button, which actually is just standby. The Apple TV is the easiest and most convenient device to have tethered.

Why would one jailbreak Apple TV? Doesn't make much sense to me.

Some country there's a switch for on/off at the socket. If you switch it on 24/7 that's gonna cost $.
