A lot has been said on how iOS and Android users consume data. While the initial influx of iPhones almost crippled AT&T's network, Android users later on surpassed their iOS counterparts in data consumption.
A subset of data consumption is the usage of social networks, which constitutes a large part of daily internet activity on a smartphone.

Android users are more grown-up, and have less time and less interest in constantly mucking around in Facebook. ;-)

Don't be ridiculous. It's just that Android software is so convoluted and difficult to use that 85% of people on Android have difficulty even FINDING a facebook app. Also, apparently, finding their OWN Droid websites so they don't look like dicks on an Apple website.
