I noticed my battery on my iPhone 4 is dropping faster now on iOS 5. I disabled that and it didn't seem to last any longer. I have Bluetooth off. Wifi off when not at home and screen as dim as can be the only thing left on is 3G and don't want to disable this was gonna upgrade to iPhone 4s next week now a bit worried thinking I should wait

Well my iphone is on the way to me now. I don't care much about battery life because I know they are going to fix it. I'm just happy to be joining the Apple family, but I'm gonna miss my blackberry.

For those having issues, I have noticed on my iphone4 that under location services there is a traffic setting that seems to come on randomly even though I am not using the map application. Turned it off and battery lasts much longer.

I also noticed that the traffic location service randomly comes on for no apparent reason. I'm wondering what the benefit of that option would be. I left it on for the time being since I don't have the battery issues that others are experiencing. 61% battery life after 12hrs of standby time and almost 2hrs of usage on maximum brightness. That's within my acceptable range.http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y57/neosum/IMG_0058.png

After so many beta releases, this was least expected.

You won't miss your Blackberry.

Coming from a droid incredible.......battery life is great on the iphone 4s. You don't know what horrible battery life is till you owned a phone on the android platform!
-
Thats great for battery life, but after a few tweaks, I'm good. However, fix the apps bought on the iPhone or iPad not transferring to iTunes! And yes they are all the same apple account and the computer is authorized like it has been for the last several years with no issues until ios5.

Dejavu any one? iOS 4.0 = launch os & poor battery life. iOS 4.0.1 = fix? Lol

The only way the battery gets better on my iPhone 4S is when in airplane mode. Otherwise is draining all the time with no use !!!!
