Apple To Launch Redesigned iPhone, iPad, iMac and Macbook Air In 2012?
Taiwanese publication - DigiTimes claims that Apple plans to completely overhaul its product line in 2012, which includes iPhone, iPad, iMac and Macbook Air.
Ever since Apple unveiled iPhone 4S, which looks exactly like iPhone 4, it has been widely speculated that the sixth generation iPhone will be completely redesigned.

I say a newly designed iphone in summer 2012 with LTE support. Redesigned ipad in 2013 spring.

Anyone wanna bet and see what the new phone will be called? Doubt it will be called the iPhone 5, afterall, it will be the 6th generation iPhone.

Wow not even one month after the iphone 4S release and these bunch of F@G$ already thinking about the next generation and guessing what it will be. Well here is the spec of the next generation iphone:It is the same design of the previous models, iphone 4/4S. All the hardware specs are the same as the iphone 4S. It will have iOS5 installed.There that is the next generation iphone. So stop dreaming.

I feel ya Vin. People kill me saying that. It conveniently worked for 3GS - 4 bc 3GS was actually 3...no way they call the 6th phone iPhone 5. Smh.

My Iphone People!!!!! Stop buying the new phone until apple does a real upgrade. A little better camera and a new CPU and people are rushing to get the new iPhone. People just spend over 400.00 dollars just for that. The only way we get respect as consumer if we all demand a better product. No upgrade on the RAM, no redesign of the phone ( which the iPhone 3G and 3GS IS BETTER), no stronger antenna, or even a better battery. But people are going to buy it anyways just because it s a newer phone. People can't tell if it was a iPhone 4 or 4S. So why upgrade. I still have iPhone 3G. I bought for 100.00 and before that was the 2G for 100.00.

I say it'll go iPhone 4g then iPhone 4gs and then iPhone 7 and the iPads just keeping on track with the numerical 3, 4, ect... and that they will release a new iTouch when the iPad 3 comes out and be marketed as a low end iPad. Apple is very predictable and I'm sure Steve laid out a 10 year plan that started with the later than expected release of the iPhone 4s.

i'm going out on a limb here, but i predict annual incremental technological improvements in Apple's entire lineup, over the foreseeable future. i further predict that some people will hate it, and some will like it. and they'll make a lot of money. details to be made available upon delivery.call me crazy...

Really? I don't get why everyone is demanding a redesign. Is it so that when they whip out their iPhone in public people instantly see that their iPenis is bigger then the guy with the iPhone 4. It makes no sense, if apple had named it the iPhone 5 and gave it a litte visual tweak everyone would be happy but because they can't be smug and pompous about their new iPhone they hate it. And the iPhone 3G and 3Gs being a better design that is your opinion and I disagree.
