Apple VP Of Global Security Departs
Apple's VP of Global Security John Theriault has retired from the company following the loss of two unreleased iPhone prototypes in the past two years. The news was first reported by 9 to 5 Mac, which has since been independently confirmed by CNET and AllThingsD.
John was a special agent for the FBI for 26 years, after which he served at Pfizer for 11 years and finally joined Apple in 2007.

Change of management. Folks loyal to the old regime/way of life tend to phase out, sooner than later.

"The mess intensified further, when Apple's security officials visited the home, allegedly belonging to the person in possession of the prototype, and (according to the resident) posed as police. They went on to search the house without any warrant, and found nothing till today."not sure how things work in the U.S. but isn't that a rather somewhat criminal offence or are corporates above the law these days?i see that for legal reasons the word "alledgedly" has been used. not that apple seem to bother about silly little things like that...... erm... allegedly. lol
