Google Chairman Eric Schmidt Says Siri Could Pose Threat To Google's Search Business
After Andy Rubin played down the importance of Siri by saying no one wants to talk to their phone, Google chairman Eric Schmidt admitted that the voice based service could be used to over ride Google when searching for information. His statements came in a letter in response to questions raised by a senator about Google's monopoly in the search business.

Siri is like a keyboard or mouse. The more you use it, the better you get. Took a bit of practice but now my eyes never leave the road when I'm driving!

Agreed above. I can text while driving with my earbuds on without ever taking my phone from my pocket. I just wish there was a way to control her volume...anyone figure anything out I may have missed?

I feel sorry those who said its not worth the update. Glad i got my faster iphone 4s. More speed, faster response. And now with siri, fewer traffic accidents :P

Aside from mostly using Siri for texting I use Siri to google. So i I guess I really haven't cut down on google at all. I just don't manually goTo it.

Siri is great, but it can't always answer all the question. When Siri can't answer a question it ask if you want to search the web, if you tell Siri "yes" Siri uses google when searching the web anyway. I only used siri if I'm not near a computer, but when I do search on the computer I always use google.

Its never an issue for them, when they can copy the whole OS, they can copy - one more thing!
