Do you have any idea about this iPhone hack at http://techtaxi.blogspot.com/2008/02/how-to-hack-iphone.html? The one using Jailbreak and the Chip.... Does it allow future firmware updates? Has anybody used this hack before. What are the results?

NICE!!! Had to make a couple of alterations to the software and how to downgrade, unlock and upgrade, but i now have a 1.1.2 OTB (UK phone) phone running every network on jailbroken 1.1.3! Any of my pictures as a hub wallpaper, customised icons AND a decent network! O2 are sh*t!!!

Just a quick question. Has anyone moved iPhone apps to a Mac and successfully run them? I am particularly interested in Maps and the locator function.
I would guess that this is feasible but, not knowing enough about MacOS X on iPhone / iPod touch vis-a-vis MacOS X 10.x, that's just speculation on my part.
Can anyone confirm or disconfirm this?
