Initial Reports Indicate iOS 5.0.1 Fixes Battery Life Issues
Apple's iOS 5.0.1 update to address battery life concerns faced by a number of users, according to initial reports iOS 5.0.1 software is "nothing short of amazing". Most developers who have used iOS 5.0.1 beta reported much better battery life when on iOS 5.0.1.

I hope they update fixes the bugs. I don't have the battery problem on my iphone, but I had to perform a number of steps related to the network settings and notifications to fix the battery issue on a friend's iphone.I also notice a small problem with the gps tracking. Sometimes it gets a bit inaccurate. Has anyone else noticed this? It started as of ios 5 on both the iphone 4 and 4s so I'm certain it's software related.

I did notice the innacuracies of the gps only on my wife's 4S gps, I have the iPhone 4. She and I were at my house sitting next to eachother and her phone showed like three homes away mine was exactly where I was sitting. Both of us have OIS 5.

HELP!!!! Dunno but I upgraded to 5.0.1 and seems like screen transition gets stuck when i hit the home button. Anyone having the same problem? Anyways I also found this video if anyone finds out what it is please shed some light on it...look like a transparent keyboard?

I live in Ohio and I got it a couple hours ago. Updated without iTunes too which was cool.
