The Future Of Siri: Control It With Your Mind
If you thought Siri - iPhone 4S' new voice activated personal assistant feature was revolutionary then checkout Project Black Mirror.
It is a project started by two guys who have figured out a way to give commands to Siri using brain waves and lot of hardware. So far they've managed to 25 brain waves to specific Siri commands.
Okay, if it sounds unbelievable then here is how they've managed to get it to work according to IntoMobile:

apple already uses mind control. just ask any fanboy hehehe xx

Realy dreams

Not so much dreams as the government has been using technology like this for some time now and there have been several mind control based games on he market before however crude they may be. But as far as civilian applications I believe that is still quite some ways away.

This is for sure fake..

I don't know if these guys are legit or not, but it may be. I've actually been to a location in Japan 2 years ago when they were experimenting with brainwaves and could send signals to turn on and off the lights in the experimental room. If these guys aren't legit who am I to say. Anyway, the idea's cool to me. I just wouldn't want to have any electric nodes hooked up to my head to use it. I think the bluetooth earpiece for me is awkward enough.

Prove to me how this is fake.

It's fake. if they show the macbook you could see that call commands comes from macbook.
-
why would anyone say this is fake? it just uses other companies existing technology strung together...its a cool idea, but its definitely nothing new...

Super fake!

Why should that be a fake? It's simple: You see the device where the iPhone is connected to. There are some presaved patterns like "Call John". All these presaved patterns can be accessed by some special brain activities. So if the user thinkgs "Call John" than this device will recognize this and just play the sound "Call John" through the headphone jack into iPhone 4S. So why shouldn't this work? Simple...The only thing is: This is a little bit less hardware to gain this functionality.

Not Fake but pretty close to it. With only 1 or 2, maybe 3 commands, just noise input has a 1/3 chance it could make that call. So far it seems only 1 command is used. So that is 50% chance it will call. So if you dig into the brainwaves a certain way, looking for hiccups in it, then you have a 75% or better chance it will call - command 1 (the only command). So the odds are, it will make the call, even if you hook it up to a plant and water it, play music to it.
-
Well said. Show me a video where they call their shots. They never announce what command they're going to "think" of.

I smell the smelly smell of bullshi t

it is a interesting idea but the internet would grind to a halt with the consistant (at least once ever 5 mins) demand for **** ;oP you know what i'm talkin 'bout boys hehehe
-
Awesome, but this is still a few years away.
-
Would be cool if true but they gave it away when they waited for the number to be dialed and even answered the call. Nothing mind controlling about that just they had nothing else to show. Totally fake
-
I could use something like that on my motorcycle but I think we are still a few years away from that. They have been using the brain waves to control the computers to speak for paraplegics for awhile.

Prove to me how its real! LOL
