Report Claims Apple Is Working On 7-Inch iPad Mini And 4-Inch iPhone 5
iPad mini and 4-inch iPhone 5 rumors are back. ComputerWorld (via The Korean Times) reports that Apple is working on a smaller iPad and iPhone with a larger screen.
Korean Times claims that they've received this information from an "industry insider".

NO, NOT INTERESTED IN A SMALLER IPAD! I bought this because of the size. I can actually see what's on the screen. I do admit that it is a bit harder to carry with me but it is worth it. Otherwise, I will have to go to the 11 inch air. If I wanted a smaller screen I would just use an IPhone!

Ohhh GREAT! more "report claims" from "insiders". Nobody else has that. Except for.. oh wait, EVERY OTHER TECH BLOG on the internet.. Why o why do they keep saying iphone5?? 4s IS THE FIFTH ONE. SO THERE WON'T BE AN "iPHONE 5"! I'm sorry for yelling..Just let us know when the next jailbreak is out. Or most likely the next six tethered JBs...

I agree with you!! I love the size of my iPad 2 it's so flat and thin plus it fits in my Louis Vuitton bag nicely! However, the iPhone 5 I'm very much interested in :)

I have no doubts that Apple is playing around with a bunch of different devices and form factors. It ultimately comes down to which ones they think will sell well and those are the ones that make it to market.

Whether they call it a 5, 4g, or 4gs doesn't matter. Apple isn't numbering the phones based on what generation it is. Sure, the 4s is their 5th generation phone but there's nothing preventing them from calling the 6th generation phone an iphone 5. If you disassociate the model number with generation number, it'll make more sense.

I personally would love to see a smaller version iPad. I have a few iPhones and 2 iPad2's and would love something in between.

Bigger screen is no problem it's been around since iPad 1 and nobody noticed get an iPad find an iPhone app so it's in mini mode. Hold an iPhone screen next to it you will see that's it's a good size larger

I don't think that Apple is going to launch an Ipad mini, the current screen size is ideal for what it should be. It already has got an awesome experience.
