Qualcomm Announces Availability Of Next Gen LTE Chipset - Gobi 4000; Likely For 4G LTE iPhone And iPad
When Apple delayed the launch of the fifth generation iPhone to fall this year, some industry experts felt that this could give Apple enough time to add support for 4G LTE networks.
But it seemed unlikely based on the comments made by Apple’s Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook.
Tim Cook had explained why Apple had been reluctant to introduce a 4G iPhone this year:

With 1.5 GHz quad core, 1GB of Ram, 4-inch screen, better graphic power, 4G LTE network speed, BT 4.0, Wi-Fi b,g,n,n, 9-hour 3G talk time, 0.9 cm thick and iOS 6.0, the new redesign iPhone 5 is gonna change everything all over again.

I hope ATT puts up a strong 4g network here in the bay area. I will definitely be upgrading to the next iphone.

Most phone today add the support of just shutting the LTE off to conserv battery life. Apple it's self has included turning off 3G connectivity for that issue as well. It would make sence if apple just followed suit with the same implementation of such a switch as well.

...and in which dream did you find this fantasy hardware?

What would really be good is a breakthrough in battery technology that doubled battery capacity. A 3000mAh battery the same size as existing 1500mAh batteries would be awesome.

But its jus few countries where 4G is the standard, most of the places, its 3G which is struggling to meet customers satisfaction.

10 yrs later from now everyone holds a phone like that. Have you lost your sense of humor since puberty? Cheer up!
