Create Custom Home Screen Shortcuts For Settings Toggles For Free [No Jailbreak Required]
If you liked the trick to create custom home screen shortcuts for the various settings toggles without the need to jailbreak your iOS device, but didn't fancy paying $0.99 for apps like Icon Project to create them, then the good news is that UI designer Jeff Broderick has come to your rescue.
He has created a web-based ‘Settings’ panel, which uses these same URL schemes.
All you need to do is follow these simple steps:

How would I add cellular data toggle on my iPad?

Broderick's site did not work as shown in the video. When I Add to Home Screen, it adds an icon of the webpage (which does not work) instead of the icon. I can install the profile (which works), but it shows the white screen when you press the icon, not the nicer screen shown in the video. Any idea why iphone worked differently than the video? I have a 4s.

you have to click add to homescreenif you tap install and it takes you to some screen that says install it that takes you to the white screen

Does it work with the new iOS 5.1??... icon project shortcuts don't work on it, and I'm #$%&!+*@ upset...!!!!!

Hi, this was working find for me on iOS 5 and has now stopped working now that I've upgraded to iOS 5.1. Is there a workround or anything that can be done to get it working again?
