AppleInsider reports that according to analyst Katy Huberty of investment bank Morgan Stanley, Apple has a huge potential for growth globally, as 67% of Asian smartphone buyers don't have access to the iPhone. Expanding its realm of carrier partners is the key to tapping this potential.

    You obviously haven't been paying attention. One of the dev team members HAS jailbroken a 4S @ 5.0 but said there were lots of holes in it since it was just preliminary. But there IS a jailbreak in the works. ETA on the otherhand.....

    Last time an apple analyst along with Tim Cook "saw" something (a shortage of hard drives due to Thailand flooding) it started a speculation $h!t storm causing the prices of hard drives all over the world to more than double in price. Considering the actual supply and manufacturing capabilities (the whole reason why they have alternate locations) was not effected enough to make a noticeable difference, The reason why prices rose is purely because of speculation started by a couple of IDIOTS. Now people worldwide who need/want a hard drive are going to be paying the price till probably the beginning of Q2 2012, thanks A lot MR. cook and stupid analysts.
