As we mentioned yesterday, hacks using Siri Proxy has caught the fancy of many developers as we continue to see developers creating cool plugins for Siri Proxy.
Another developer with YouTube handle phildman14 has created a custom Siri Proxy plugin, which allows him to control devices in his room.

So does all this proxy server stuff work anywhere, or do they have to be at home on their home wifi/proxy server to use the custom commands?

Do we need to install some hardware to do like the video show?

You would need an automation with ip control. I'm a control4 dealer and I would imagin you send commands to the system controller but I'm not sure how you would do it. But it would be sweet
