Analyst Says Apple Television Set Is Coming Next Year; Provides Some Interesting Details
An analyst who specializes in all things Apple is certain that Apple branded Television sets are coming next year. He listed all of the details he thinks it'll have, and is so sure that he urged people to not buy the current set-top box (2nd generation Apple TV).
Business Insider sat down with analyst Gene Munster during their IGNITION conference. Munster strongly believes that an Apple-branded TV set is coming, and he listed all of the features it'll have.

Thats amazing..Just say ESPN and the TV set will know how to select this from any cable box you might have at home. I am sure that this will not work - but who knows maybe the Apple guys are talking right now with each and every cable provider to establish new standards for cable boxes and to comunicate wireless with apple devices :) I am looking forward to see how this will be implemented - and if its working like that - than i will buy one.

Twice the price? And no 50" model? That's okay I'll stick with my second generation jailbroken Apple TV which brings me everything I need.

If Siri waorks they way it works on my 4s If you say ESPN it is more than likely to switch it's self OFF

It sounds alot like google TV but like all things apple will sell better and be better. Also I want to know if it will be like the iPhone was in the rest of the world they are open to all networks from day one so not locked in to cable company's, as cables not as highly used out side the USA

Shouldn't ask for more than wat Samsung or Sony r worth. Reason is Sam n sony have best quality we dk how apple gonna do they should start at the same price or lower

If LCD is microsoft, then PLASMA is Apple.the truth is that my 3 year old KURO pioneer plasma set, still trumps anything LCD sold today, so i'm definitly not budging anyway from it (and im sure the apple-tv is going to be lcd, couse its much cheapr to manufacture)

Yes, analysts said that the iPad was going to cost more than 1,000.00. Apple came in at just over half that price do don't get all worked up over some random analyst's comments.
