Next-Generation iMac To Offer Television Functionality?
We've had plenty of rumors about an Apple-branded TV, but this one is quite different. According to one particular analyst, Apple's next-generation iMacs will come with Apple TV functionality built-in.
Brian Blair, an analyst for Wedge Partners, thinks that the next generation of iMacs will be out in the first half of 2012, and they'll be coming with a special bonus. Blair thinks that the big feature will be Apple TV functionality built into them.

We already use our iMac as our TV using elgato eyetv products ... it makes sense for Apple to build the tuner in ... right pain having them external :-)

Wow. Watch TV on your Mac? What wonderous new "cutting edge" ideas will Apple think of next?That would transform my whole P.C. experience!If only I could do that on my Windoze 7 Home Premium P.C. sigh :(Guess I'm gonna have seriously consider spending an extra grand on my next computer and buy an iMac so that i can watch T.V. on it. Hope they call it something like "iMedia Centre".Best patent the idea Apple otherwise other companies will definitly be stealing it from you! :) :) :)

Dont hate, Melvarius is absolutely right!!!its a revolutionary step which they need to make sure to patent before someone else runs off with the idea..not to mention another 2 grand payable to apple just to be able to watch TVwonderful!!!
