iPad 3 With Retina Display Coming in February
Another analyst claims that Apple will launch iPad 3 in February 2012. He has also confirmed the big feature everyone's been excited about: the Retina display.
Business Insider took a look at a research note issued by Citi analyst Richard Gardner about the upcoming iPad 3:
According to "several sources" the next iPad will launch in February, and it will sport a screen with double the resolution of the current model.

it it comes with retina display, 1080p camera, and siri, i'd be pretty tempted to upgrade from my original iPad. and hopefully it stays at the same price point...but i know before they were saying the retina display meant a price hike...

Erm. To the earlier post. Why you waiting to use your iPad as an external display? There are a good handful of apps in the store that can do this. Some with touch screen support. Check out DisplayLink for a simple one. Either way i'll buy one even if it was made of cardboard. Lovin my ipad2!!

Does it come with a nuclear battery pack? I walk around with 2 iphones, one for calling and music and one for mobile internet use. The iphone 4s is a real blessing.

Sounds like a good rumor to start, the technology is certainly already available. How much longer can these improvements go on for, we used to think that previous models were great when they were released, but there was always that one more thing(or several).
