Widespread iTunes And iCloud ID Outage [Updatedx3]
If you're trying to login to iTunes or App Store and are greeted with the following error message "The Apple ID could not be found or password is incorrect. Please try again." then you are not alone.
It looks Apple is currently having a widespread issue with iTunes and iCloud services as a number of users are reporting similar issues on Twitter.

Problem is definitely now resolved. The outage lasted just under 45 minutes. Cheers...André

Still not working in Australia.

I was JUST now able to log in but now I can't seem to validate my payment information. I don't know if this is related, I know my payment information is correct and it's saying, "Your payment method information doesn't match your bank's records. Try again or enter a new payment method." It was fine before the outage.

https://iforgot.apple.com/ is still having issues in England. My ID via phone works on and off for appstore etc now so looks like UK is still having issues with password server.

UPDATE: I just changed my CC info and it worked. Weird.

My account is not working yet. It keeps giving me the same message "fatal internal error occurred". Is this the company's system problem?

Still not working in Oz. Frozen at opening and not responding. Reinstated previous version and still not working.

Rumor has it they were hacked

I guess it was due to software update of their servers.
