Update On iOS 5 / iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak

Last week, iOS hacker pod2G demoed an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5 on third generation iPod touch. Since then he has confirmed that the untethered jailbreak also works on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4g and Apple TV 2G running iOS 5.0.1.

This dude continues posting these small ass updates on this jailbreak. This man is just trying to get folks to donate to him on the dream that maybe he can get it to work on ipad 2 and iphone 4s. He always claims he doesnt know if it will. He says he doesn’t want beta testers because it might leak. Ehh The tweaked 5.0.1 is only for the iPhone 4S and that device cannot be jailbroken yet

I hope he waits until 5.1 is released before releasing his jailbreak. Exploits are priceless right now and 5.1 is a huge update we all are going to want. Apple will patch the exploit before 5.1 if he releases now
