Apple's A5 iPhone 4S and iPad 2 Chip Now Manufactured in Texas by Samsung
Apple usually relies on Asian OEMs for its parts, but Reuters reports that the A5 processor is manufactured in a sprawling 1.6 million square feet factory in Texas owned by Samsung.

On another note, i think this will be the last time I get an new iPhone before I can decipher the status of it's jailbreak-ability. It's been how many months now and not even a beta of a jailbreak for iPhone 4s/iPad 2. Don't get me wrong I'm not blaming anything on those hard working fokes @ your friendly neighborhood dev team. I just have to salute Apple and its programers for finally coming up with an iron clad way of stopping pre-teens from tweaking their fancy devices to their maximum limits like I did with my STI with alcohol ingection cooleda 560 WHP dyno tuned moded ECU. There .... I said my peice.

Too bad you're too ignorant to realize that th A4 was manufactured by Samsung, as well. And the fact that the 3GS had a Samsung designed Cortex A8. And the fact that the 3G had another ARM processor designed by Samsung. Or the fact that the original iPhone model had the same ARM processor designed by SAMSUNG. Get a clue.
