there is a reason the files haven't been released, that reason is it would be PiratingUnlike jailbreaking, Pirating those files would be illegalif you don't care about it being illegal stop wining and find a way to extract the files from the 4s ipsw and implement them yourself

Exactly these piss ants that keep bagging guys for not releasing JB's quickly are just waiting for **** as they don't want to pay for anything. All they do by being inpatient and abusing people and yes that's why Geohot gave up who can blame them when they do all the hard work for free and get verbally bashed because it takes a while to release it. Could be apple workers makes sense piss them off they stop exploiting the devices. I'm hanging for a JB for my 4S it's like an expensive brick to me it's the first time I've had a iphone not jailbroken and it's painful. I to am hanging for the JB but I'll wait as long as it takes and stay on IOS 5

Well release of the untethered jb is now in the hands of chronic dev team - a reputable hacker group who I'm sure can confirm the legitimacy of the jb. These tiny dicked whiners don't care about an untethered jailbreak, they're just trolling.

Do you even understand the implications of releasing it now? Apple is still trying to role out a fix for issues in the 5.0.X software. They will be releasing numerous bug fixes as a 5.1 release probably in the next few weeks. If they meaning pod2g or chronicdev team were to release it now, apple would patch it in 5.1 and you would be back to having nothing. Instead of bitching about it, support these guys for making the right decision. If you think you can do better, learn the code and do it. We should be happy that pod2g even found a hack, or is even working on it for that matter. There are very very few people who have gotten as far as he is. Be patient and give the guy some credit rather than grief.

To all you inpatient babies. STFU, you guys didn't/don't have to update to iOS 5 you can/could of stayed on iOS 4.xx. where you can JB an device. Also you guys can drop a pretty dollar an get an iDevice that can be JB'ed from eBay or many other sources. If you can't afford the plenty of "other" choices to get your JB'ed iDevice fix, it is in your best interest to.1) Respect this guys/teams that are doing all they can to bring the JB FOR FREE to the masses, give them time you don't have to donate to them. It isn't an easy task specially when you aren't really getting payed for your time.2) Don't wait for the JB, and move on to another device that requires no JB (good luck with that) and do us all a favor and STFU please if its not constructive or stimulating keep it to yourself.This guys don't really get payed for their time (donations are not a payment dumb asses)again if you are frustrated about not getting your JB on your schedule maybe you should be asking them how you can help to make it happen faster, or learn the skill required and DO IT YOURSELF (good luck with that to).I can not blame the guys that no longer are involved in the scene, because of no cooperating and disrespectful posers. If you hate waiting for the next JB so much, then just don't wait and update or don't wait and get another phone but in either case again STFU with your stupid comments. I can't believe how many of you people are complaining about not getting a jailbreak or unlock for your devices. Those that jailbreak and release unlocks provide these features for us for free. I have used every iPhone and have been patient for jailbreaks and unlocks because I understand they do it for free. They accept donations, they don't charge for the jailbreaks or unlocks. Those who choose to donate, donate and those that don't, don't donate. Either way the jailbreaks and unlocks have been released.I guarantee that all of you that are complaining can't jailbreak or unlock the iDevices. The only way you all jailbreak or unlock any iDevice is because someone else has released a way for you to do so. If you want an unlock or jailbreak now, do it yourself. I've been using jailbreaks and unlocks for a couple of years now and have never seen any of the complainers names as one of the individuals that released a jailbreak or unlock. If you can't wait maybe you should move on to the Android devices with their "not so open source" utilities as described in a previous article posted on iphonehacks.com.If you're not working to jailbreak or unlock the iDevices quit complaining. This is still an interesting move by Pod. You discover a untethered jailbreak that obviously has some bugs in it. Then release it to the chronic dev team (a competing team) in hopes they can fix the bugs, which they THEMSELVES were unable to iron out on their own jailbreaking methods. Then focus your efforts on a "promising" iPhone 4s/iPad 2 tethered/untethered jailbreak. I had to admit i didn't see that move coming. All within a period two weeks. Reads like a code nerd soap opera. lol I can't wait to see whats in store on the next episode. Same bat time same bat channel.

UJB should not be released until 5.1 came out and tested completly because it could be most stable and best iOS release for long JB community... Now i'm still waiting with iP4 iOS 4, i can wait one more week until apple release 5.1 and then i want UJB :)

He uploaded his 10th demo on YouTube for ios 5.5. He said ” There is a chance that maybe,it’s possible ,that I might maybe soon,sometime release around next chrismas ,be patient .

Finally, more people are starting to see the light. Why would anyone go on an iPhone (or iApple products in general) Hacking news forum to diss on Hackers knowing full well that they would get slammed for doing so? Thick skin? Stupidity? Moles on Apple's payroll ? It's the New Age of Cybertech wars, boys and girls.
