Apple to Launch iPad 3 On Steve Jobs' Birthday?
Apple is expected to launch the third generation iPad early next year.
Apple launched the Wi-Fi version of the original iPad on April 3rd, 2010 in the United States and iPad 2 on March 11th, 2011.

I plan on buying an iPad 3 next March. I want an iPad because my iPod touch is crap, plus I've never owned an iPad before, so I'd want to try it.

Does it make sense to launch a new iPad without an "official" announcement 90 days after a bajillion are given as holiday gifts and risk angering consumers? Then again, I could be thinking too narrowly of only those countries that partake in Christmas gifting.
