Not at all a surprise, the sole reason why devs want to make iOS apps.

Could this somehow have to do with the fact that android devices allows installation of pirated apps without any hacking?

Hmmmm so the statistics show that in relation to mobile purchases "Apple's mobile devices - the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch - accounted for more than 92% of non-desktop sales in December, which is up from 88% in April." . like we have a choice to not purchase online? You would think it would be a lot higher :) considering the monopoly Apple has conveniently carved out for itself. :)I'm guessing the only way they can increase this is to either start selling Android apps from the Crapp store or carry on with the patent wars and hope to wipe out any competition.
