Rumor: Apple May Launch Completely Redesigned iPhone Next Year
You may have heard this before. BGR reports that Apple is planning to launch a completely redesigned iPhone next year.
According to BGR, Apple will launch the redesigned iPhone in the fall of next year just like iPhone 4S.

I don't think that Apple will come out with a cheap plastice to join the front and the back. Come on, we're talking about an Appl product here not a Samsung. I think that the mock that has been circulating around for some time could actually be very close to it. Don't forget that one of the prototype was lost and a china company actually made 50,000 cover for what was anticipated before the 4s. iPhone 5 has been made long ago and some people already know a lot about it

umm... most likely it will be a redesigned phone next year. Have people not picked up on the pattern yet? Its a redesigned phone every other year with a "s" model in the middle. Been like that almost since the first one... These must be the same people who were actually expecting the 4s to be a redesign.

I say the next iPhone will be thinner and a little wider by a few mm, just enoug to fit on current docks. A bit heavier due 2 LTE chip standards with possible 3D capabilites.

Please read the 1st word on this post "RUMOR". And aluminum back, really, I don't think so. Apple changed from that cause it overheated the phone and thus the 3 and 3G came without aluminum back. How can aluminum, which has much better thermal transmission properties than plastic or glass, can produce overheating?. If you feel it warm in your hand it is a clear sign of better heat dissipation.

Feeling warm is not a clear sign of better heat dissipation. It's a sign of something being warm. If both materials had to dissipate the same amount of heat flux then the better heat dissipating material would feel colder.
