More Apple Television Rumors And Speculations
Following up on yesterday's rumor about Apple's television, DigiTimes adds on information as to who they think will win the contract from Apple to build their television sets. In addition, an analyst hints that Apple may offer live streaming television content.

Compared to most smartphones... the iPhone is rediculously priced. Compared to ALL tablets... the iPad is rediculously priced. With that said, I have both. However, can you imagine how crazy the price is going to be on this TV. I, for one, will not be sucked into this vortex any further than I have... thank you very much!!

Apple has been known to revolutionize already invented products. Computers, mp3 players, smartphones already existed before Apple completely overhauled the way they operate. If the rumors are correct, I don't see how Apple will "revolutionize" the actual television set. The whole "customized programing" rumor is something the $99 AppleTV can handle and I don't see any real reason to build a television. Really thin HDTVs already exist so this isn't something Apple can surprise customers with. 3D, Wi-Fi, bluetooth, these are other things not new. Unless this new television looks like something right out of the movies, my guess is that this will be as popular as Ping. Knowing me though, I'll probably still buy it.

only thing apple can do is merge their software with my 60" samsung 3d that's about an inch thick - but then again, it's made by samsung and with the current battles taking place, not gonna happen

For Apple to sell the product its all about the pricing. I don't know if this rumor is true but price tag of $6,000?? A great price range $2,000-3,500.
