Lock Screen Weather: App Brings Weather Forecasts to Your iPhone's Lock Screen Without Jailbreaking
Until now if you wanted to see weather forecast on your iPhone's lock screen you had to jailbreak your iPhone.
However, Pavel Kozarek has managed to get his weather app aptly called Lock Screen Weather approved by Apple, which brings the weather conditions to iPhone's home screen without the need of jailbreaking.
Here's a brief description of the app from the App Store:

so close yet so far... "You also shouldn't play any music.." not such a "smart" phone, if I have to choose between weather or my music.... but credit to the guy, hes obviously very clever to get it done!

The link takes me to Werther HD

Sorry that was Weather+ not weather hd

The link takes you to completely the wrong app!!

Thanks for pointing it out, the link issue has been fixed.

Uh, not cool, you're gonna be another sucker throwing $1 into the wind. The app only works when you open it and works as a background, which results with shorter battery life. I didn't spend money on this BS app and help the poor bastard get another $1 richer for something that works like ass.

I used to use one called Live Wallpapers which is this same concept but instead of a weather widget, it's animated wallpapers on the lock screen. You should check it out too.... reason I stopped using it though is because it seemed to randomly stop backgrounding itself (so it went back to the normal lock screen wallpaper) VERY frequently. Hopefully this one doesn't have that same affect or it's kinda pointless because it'd take just as long to relaunch the app as it would to ask Siri / go into weather widget.

Hey guys, have you ever tried HTC Sense Live Weather. Uh, kinda puts this app and all others to shame. Maybe you should all just buy Androids ; )

Get the droid just for this app? Just shows how stupid u r... Enough said...

It's starting to look more like a brain teaser puzzle, this "how to do this without jailbreaking" thing.

No, get the Android because it's so much more fun. I would buy another iphone in an instant if Apple just let us do what we want with them...nuff said!

I'm yet to find a weather app that is even close to being accurate. Most supply info that is nothing like what is on the Weather Bureau's web site.

So where is the right app's link?

Apple did indeed remove the app from the App Store. Really wish there was a way to do this like the HTC, but without playing the music. :\Guess I'll stick with LockInfo + LockWeather, which is a decent lock screen app that will display the weather + forecast.
