Browser Speed Test: Apple's iPhone 4S Vs. Nokia Lumia 800 Vs. iPhone 4
Back in April 2011, Joe Belfiore, Director of the Windows Phone program compared the performance of Internet Explorer 9 mobile with Mobile Safari on iPhone 4 and Android browser on Samsung’s Nexus S by running HTML5 speed reading demo.
In that test, Internet Explorer 9 mobile with hardware acceleration support had surprised us by blowing away Mobile Safari and Android browser in the performance test.

I'm sorry to disapoint but i just tested it with my htc titan twice and got 60 fps in the speed reading test, now either the 1,4ghz processor in the lumia is a lot worse, or there was something wrong with the testing

Oh, how could the iPhone not be better at everything? Hey how about comparing battery life and signal strength next?

I got 51882 with browser mark iPhone 4 with 5.0.1. Similar result as to the poster above.

Not necessarily, I don't understand why everyone assumes that if something has a faster processors it will run more efficiently. The CPU will run as well as the code that utilizes it. The CPU can't make up for crappy infrastructure and bad coding. Also there needs to be synergy among all the components of the phone not just popping a fast CPU into the phone. To accomplish this there need to be good OS infrastructure and good code.
