iOS hackers Steven Troughton-Smith and Nick have made excellent progress in porting iOS apps to a jailbroken Apple TV.
They first showed us how they have managed to get iOS apps running on a jailbroken Apple TV. They even figured out a way to get iPad apps to work in full-screen mode.

Damn. When could we play with it. I mean I love the hard work these devs do. I really do, especially with the phones & iPads but I don't know how many times they show some good sh*t off and make me crazy desperate to play with it but never see it. I hope they can have some good progress so they can release something soon. Please, this development is awesome. I can't wait.

i cant wait as i said befor If this can run things like BBC iplayer and other TV catch up apps and lovefilm and sky go apps then am defo getting another apple TV for the bedroom. Also when the onlive app comes out that would be cool saves buying there consol

This is exactly what I've been waiting for (and I'm sure many others) and the lack of such features is the whole reason that I've yet to purchase the Apple TV, Apple are missing out on a trick here!! If we can get the services you mentioned in your post I'd be straight down to the shops to buy one!

Yep there missing out catch up tv is big I know they don't wanna do it cos they wanna sell shows on iTunes witch I never buy shows any way. And plus the onlive controller as wireless so should work with apple tv we just need the onlive app to hurry up
