Apple's Media Event to Focus on Textbooks and Education?
Yesterday we reported that Apple was going to be having an event at the end of January. Now, multiple sources have chimed in, claiming that the focus will be on education and possibly digital textbooks.
AllThingsD recently reported on an iBooks and publishing-centered event that Apple is planning on holding at the end of January. Now, multiple sources have added more information to that rumor.

Ermm... no offence, but I been working on a prototype for something very similar for last year or two...Kinda upset as don't have the man power Apple has nor the same funds :(But well, let me not speculate, let us see what the announcement is first!

Textbooks released in iBook format would be great. I hate paying those overpriced prices for stupid textbooks that I'll never use again after my class is over.
