Who needs an unlocked iPhone anymore? If you can't get an iPhone from your carrier, then you need a better carrier

if you paid for the apps in cydia and have your login information, then no for the majority of the apps you do not have to repay. You log back in with your id. (Facebook in my case) and it will show you all your previous purchases.

It seems so simple, but obviously undoable ... But wouldn't it be nice if these guys could just take the existing ipsw files, and strip out the piece of program that blocks the jailbreakme.com exploit? Sigh .... one could dream

I do wish they would fix the existing 5.0.1 JB before tackling a new JB. The horror stories are all over the web. An iPad JB with no iBooks? Ridikerous! It's the US military approach to JB - Kuwait, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran(?)... Finish the first mess before you move on to the next one.

Maybe if the US didn't have to help the rest of the world while they all sat on their hands, they would be able to finish something. Plenty able to point fingers at the US saying why don't you do this... why don't you do that .. all the meanwhile sitting on their asses doing nothing. Th US has homeless, jobless, poor education, yet gives out more money in foreign aid then the rest of the world combined. Don't have ibooks .. need ibooks .. then don't jailbreak.

Uh, yeah, that's the point - I didn't JB. I'm pointing out the faulty logic in starting new projects when the old ones are still F'ed up. Maybe they are quietly working in the background on fixing the snackered 5.0.1 iPhone 4 untethered, but all we hear about is the upcoming 4s /iPad 2 JB. Let's just say I have low expectations.Also, why does some punter always say if you don't like xxx then don't JB? These forums don't exist so we can all be fanboys. Pointing out problems and suggesting courses of action are how we all stay informed. It's how I knew NOT to JB using the current 5.01 untetheredDon't like comments .. comments are here .. then don't read here.
