NotificationCenter Enhancer: Jailbreak App Allows You to Tweak iOS Notification Center
Since the introduction of iOS Notification Center, which is one of our favorite iOS 5 features, it has been great to see a number of custom widgets and tweaks like BBSettings, Music Control, Favorite Contacts, QuickNote etc that add more functionality to the Notification Center to make it even better.
NotificationCenter Enhancer as the name suggests - is another jailbreak tweak that brings some useful tweaks to the iOS Notification Center such as:

I have to disagree. Jailbreak allows for an infrastructure wifi hotspot, open VPN, python scripts, the usual aesthetic tweaks, and a software unlock. A5 jailbreak is right around the corner and is alive and well.

Not everyone has a ipad 2 or iphone 4s.....

I really hope someone releases a tweak that allows you to disable notification center all together.......that thing is so annoying when you are playing a game or on youtube or other things that require the top of the screen a lot.....

Why not go into settings and remove the miscellaneous apps by turning them off?

i agree with you. Jailbreak allows very useful features and defiantly is still used today.

I have the 4S, and as of right now, it's jailbroken. Even if I don't care for NC tweaks, the fact that I can use themes and custom sounds and sliders is enough of a reason to jailbreak for me. Oh, and integrating Google Voice for outgoing calls and sms is also a plus. So, JB is not for everyone, but no one is a loser if they don't agree with others.

You can disable NC using Springtomize 2. As well as spotlight, which I hate.
