So, we are going to go through ALL OF THAT just to get an icon on the home screen that says "contacts?" You can do that now with a 3rd party app. What is the big attraction to this new firmware version?

The iPhone firmware 2.0 which is expected to be released in June as an update to iPhone users will include the enterprise features and also include the AppStore from where you will be able to install the official iPhone applications.
The firmware we are currently talking about is only available to those who are part of iPhone Developer program and runs on the iPhone emulator which helps developers to debug their applications.
