iPhone 4S Launch in Beijing Cancelled Due to Unruly Crowd
It looks like Apple's iPhone 4S launch in Beijing, China has run into some trouble. We had reported earlier that iPhone 4S launch in China was greeted with long lines.
M.I.C Gadget now reports that Apple has cancelled the launch at Apple's Sanlitun retail store in Beijing due to voilence breaking out between a gang of scalpers ahead of the opening.

Apple should do away with the lines and go online only for a couple weeks to avoid this Black Friday style of violence. And people wouldn't have to camp or stand in the cold. Yes the website would probably go crazy but that's still better than fights breaking out.
