Rumor: Apple to Unveil iPad 3 in Early February
Today seems to be the day of iPad 3 rumors.
Japanese blog Macotakara reports that Apple is planning to hold a special media event in early February to unveil their third generation iPad, which will be available to customers in early March.

According to asian supplier and a source in United States, Apple seems to prepare to hold Special Event in early February.

Not gonna happen. Steve told them clearly "move on from what i did" make your own path, pretty much. PLUS... No time to notify the media and fet everyone on board. When they announce events, they do it at least with a month in advance or so.

I hope the new ipad doesn't come out in March since I just received the ipad 2 as a a gift. :p Hopefully it comes out near the holidays. Even if the new one comes out in March(I hope with minor improvements like a bit faster processor not quad-core) us ipad 2 users will have cydia in a couple of days and who knows how long it takes for the ipad 3 to get it if it took this long to almost get it on the second gen ipad(well excluding the jailbreak last summer). :) I might get the ipad 4 or 5 though judging by apple releasing new hardware yearly but might even wait until the 6th gen since apple hardware is kind of built to last. (still have an itouch from late 2010 that works like a charm).

I agree as I am still using 2 yrs old iphone 4 which has no scratches, no wear and tear, works without any issues even with tons of apps installed (could have said this for Samsung or HTC) .. Didnt had an ipad till now but looks like am gonna get one in March
