iPhone OS 3.1.3 was the last iOS software update for iPhone 2G (the original iPhone), iPod touch 1st generation and iOS 4.2.1 was the last software update for iPhone 3G, iPod touch 2nd generation users.
If you're still using them then it means that you're missing out some of the major new features introduced by Apple in iOS 4 and iOS 5 such as multitasking, folders, iCloud etc.

iPhone 3G can't handle multitasking (50MB only) I tried it and iPhone 3G gets so slow...

I have actually used other versions of that custom iOS. It runs very smooth. Even on a 2G. It runs a lot better than the stock iOS that's for sure. If I ever come across another older iPhone I will be trying this out on it.

For those that use this, while playing music on the iphone 2g, does the skipping forward and backward buttons on the stereo bluetooth headphones work? Apple os fw 3.1.3 doesn't have this (only play and pause).. It was maybe 4.0 or 4.1 that apple added them. So, I was wondering if this whitdoor ios have it enabled? Thanks.

Lot of luck with Whited00r - I have yet to figure out how to even download the iOS. The download forced you through force ads, one that was so impossible to get out I had to close the browser ,and then when I got to the download page it forces you to download a download manager .... and it goes on. Seems very sketchy and makes me question the product.

Really? I didn't click in the ad, I just waited for the "skip this ad" to show in the top of the page, then it took me directly to the download page. The only reason I haven't insatalled is because they say the new version (ios4 based) is already in the works (beta), so I'll wait till they release it (the current one is ios3 based).

Hey I have 2G iPhone, recently upgraded to ios6 3.1.3, from whited00r it works but could not use browser as well as apps. All app require min 4.0.1 or 5.0.1 and above. From where I can get such firmware?
