Apple unveiled iBooks 2 at the special media event earlier today and is now available in the App Store.
Apple aims to reinvent textbooks with iBooks 2 by bringing a new textbook experience for the iPad.

Yup. Available for all idevices. Works on jailbroken devices too.

how many teachers will allow students to bring their iPad to the classroom? How many students will actually utilize their iPad + textbooks as opposed to iPad + youtube? I don't see this being a problem in college where you pay for your schooling. But public schools, especially Compton College.. I see a lot of reports about stolen iPads in the classroom..hmm. thoughts?
