Dev Team Provides More Details About Untethered Corona A5 Jailbreak For iPhone 4S and iPad 2
iPhone Dev team has just published a post titled "Corona A5 jailbreak nearly ready to pop! ", which provides more details about the untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
They've confirmed that the jailbreak programs will be released soon and they're currently in the process of fixing some of the remaining bugs.

Very nice to hear! The team did a fantastic job. I do however have a question: Will the jailbreak work on an iPad 2 3G running 5.0.1? Or is there essentially no difference, except the 3G, between the 3G model and the non-3G?

Great,Thanks to all the teams for there combines support :)It's a pitty that once it is out and 5.1 is released, ppl will be bugging them for a 5.1 untethered jailbreak, I do hope Apple doesn't fix the exploit in 5.1, but i bet the will have fixed it by the time that it comes out.

i can only cry...i updated my 4s to 5.0.1 and i NEED the carrier unlock, i didnt saved the shsh all i can do now is cry? :( I already hate my Iphone!!!

The difficulty in getting the A5 jailbreak out does not bode well for an A6 jailbreak when the new chip is eventually used. Looks like Apple is eventually going to win ... Kudos to the people who dedicate their time and skill to jail breaking our iPhones!!! You guys rock!

Me 3, I agree as well. I would not have upgraded to 5.0.1 had i known my chances of keeping 5.0 firmware would increase my chances of getting an unlock.

There will never be a product that is 100% safe, un-jailbreakable, un-exploitable etc. Thinking ahead already to the A6? Let's stay focused on the A5.

I unlocked my iphone 4 here is how i did it i farted 1 time burrrrped 2 times drank a cup of coffee, apple is not going to like that now i can get apps free.
