Apple Closes In On Android Owing to High iPhone 4S Demand: Nielsen
Nielsen's latest report on the smartphone ecosystem reaffirms NPD's stats, which showed Apple gained significant momentum amongst U.S. consumers who bought a phone in Q4 (October - December) of last year.

Lol, yeah, that's true. Didn't think about that. 3GS is free, but most people are getting the 4 or 4S. I'll bet over 80% of Android phones are free...
