The jailbreak dream team has just released a new version of Absinthe jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2, which includes some cosmetic changes, bug fix and support for Linux.
pimskeks - member of the jailbreak dream team has provided the following details about the latest update:
Since people ask: #Absinthe 0.3 only has some cosmetic changes, and a potential bug fix for win32 (only really few people seem affected)

sir i jail break my iphone 4s but not activated,i restore and try again to jailbreak every thing work fine but not activate the phone.

I also noticed the random white icons. I always fix this by restarting the springboard from SBSettings.Works fine and appears only occasionaly with one icon.

whenever i download absinthe and try to open the application on my macbook it crashes saying an error occurred blah blah blah. and i been trying to download and open this application several times since the very first update to the third but the same error happens. any help would be appreciated!!?

Trying to jailbreak my 4s. Every time I try to download the link, I get a message that Absinthe has quit unexpectedly. Never had this problem jail breaking before. Any fixes? Tried updated versions dated from 1/20/11 to no avail.

i have an iphone 4 on ios 5 unlocked with gevey sim.if i jailbreak it can i still use the gevey sim.

you just have to go to cydia-> search-> sbsettingnd then install it nd u have to swipe from the top-left of the screen to the top-right nd it will appear nd just choose respring

After JB i can't delet app's, they start shaking when holding on icon, but dont disappear when taping the X, but the iphone freeze, and i have to reboot.someone have any Solutio?

Jailbreak worked for me and was fine for over a week but i let my battery run out. Now im stuck on the loading screen after the apple logo. Has anyone else had this? How do I solve this without restoring?
