Almost 1 Million iPhone 4S And iPad 2 Jailbroken in Three Days
The jailbreak dream team released the Absinthe jailbreak late last week - the first jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2. They've just shared the number of iPhone 4S and iPad 2 users who have jailbroken their iOS device since the launch.
iPhone dream team have shared the following numbers:
* 491,325 new iPhone4,1 devices
* 308,967 new iPad2 devices
* 152,940 previously jailbroken (at 4.x) iPad2 devices
Total: 953,232 new A5 jailbreaks in a little over 3 days

No I've been going through problems. I read every blog and mine is very rare apparently. Everytime i use absinthe, I always have to restore the jailbreak I tried to do once. Then while I jailbreak it, it quits unexpectedly, forcing me to do the whOle process again. HELP!

Yes turns my 4s from a good phone to a great one. I have a truly unlimited data plan here in the uk great to now make facetime calls over 3g

Download the 'other' iOS 5.0.1 firmware from felixburns and do a shift restore to it. Then jailbreak.

HI, I have Jailbroken my IPhone 4s IOS 5.0.1(AT&T Carrier) in india. Is there any thing that i need to do to use the iphone in India. Or i can just take a new sim and use it. Guys Pls hellp me out.Thanks in advance.

Try using a different computer. I had problems on one did a restore used another one and worked.

i have iphone 4s bought from hongkong.. my problem is I thought the phone is unlock coz i bought it from a retail store. i tried to jailbreak using absinthe but it stucks at jailbreaking screen. any suggestions what to do?btw, the phone is not activated yet.

my own iPhone 4S, my girlfriends 4S and my mothers ipad 2 have been jb thanks to the dream team. It just works and now Siri is worth every buck. I'm really glad that I upgraded from iPhone 4 so I get the best user experience. Mine is also unlucked from the tele company. That's standard when you sign up for a 6 months period in Denmark (Telecompany 3).

Thanks to the absinthe, i feel my 4s sim card error gone! No longer having audio bug when calling. This is very good weird!!!

My guess is there isn't att services in india correct? you will need to unlock your phone to use it with a carrier of your choice, there currently isn't an unlock to the 4S, at least not that I am aware of.

Can anybody help me? after installing and uninstalling FaceTime Hack (for making normall calls) i loosed it at all! can't get it back... Can anybody coppy files from Ifile (connected to FaceTime) and send me them... I think that this program has deleted some files... Thanks.Email: niki-tochka@yandex.ru

M8, I did this, create a new user on your pc or laptop and try the jailbreak again. Worked for me several times in the past.John

I spoke about FaceTime...I decided to install phoneit, and then in iFile deleted that sh#t and that's it... But I need to check it at all. So I'll reply later...

I won my IPAD2 more than 6 months... IOS 4.3.5... Was in the closet until now... Without jailbreak it is useless.... NOW he has some value for me. I have an iPhone 4S 64GB on O2 and this jailbreak (absinthe v0.3) worked fine on my mac running osx lion without any major problems other than a few white icons which disappeared immediately after installing sbsettings. this is simply the easiest jailbreak yet and you don’t even have to put the iPhone into recovery mode. Fantastic work guys and as always your hard work is greatly appreciated.
