iOS hacker and developer - Ryan Petrich has released a new jailbreak tweak called Belfry that brings the stock iPhone apps such as Weather, Clock, Calculator, Voice Memos, Compass and Stocks to Apple's iPad.
Ryan Petrich has released popular jailbreak apps and tweaks such as ProSwitcher, Rotation Inhibitor, DeepEnd, Clippy, DisplayOut etc and had also worked with chpwn to legally bring Siri (Spire) to non-iPhone 4S devices.

all of them work pretty ok in a general sense. compass and vioce memo has screen interface problems where when the app tries to fit in the screen, the graphics are outta whack (i have retina and fullforce, but all disabled, so i;m not sure if that will affect it. clock looks fine, although have not tested it, some interface issues too.weather and calc looks ok as an iphone app.stocks is the best one... looks great.if you are wondering about notfication. it does not work. too bad :)good work anyways... hope it'll get better

I can't install it on my ipad 2. It freezes at "Preparing Belfry"

Got a wrong day of the week in the weather app (today is wednesday, says its saturday). Also Compass app works but its undersized for the Ipad and leaves a Black square on mid screen. Nice but needs tweaking

I had for force quit cydia, when i openned it back it said to clear the bad installation. I did it. Now the icons (of belfry apps) are showing on my homescreen, half of it work, half not, and since cydia clear the installation i can't uninstall it. what should i do? :(

you can use retinizer for calculator and weather apps , they look pretty nice afterwards , and you could add a notification center to the weather app , too bad it is missing but hey , it is nice work , been trying to get them to work , no success , thanks

Without notification center, to me, this is useless. Btw, doesn't play nice with intelliscreenX, I had to disable intelliscreenx to get my iOS GUI to look right... Installing belfry with intelliscreenx running screwed up all my apps and folders on springboard. After disabling intelliscreenx the springboard looks fine, but my folders were gone. There are plenty of third party HD apps that do everything these apple apps do, I don't see any reason to use belfry without notification center incorporation. Although I've read belfry and lockinfo work well together, haven't tried yet, but that's certainly redeemable.[ipad2 / iOS 5.0.1 / greepois0n absinthe jailbreak]

!!WARNING!!If you install this tweak you will lose the ability to have the weather in your notification center. Uninstalling Bellfry will not bring it back. This tweak BREAKS the wether widget in notification center. Do not install it!

Or, wait. That might have been on my iPhone... is there a weather widget on the notification center on the iPad? can anyone confirm? If not, ignore the previous post.Though, the belfry tweak put me into 'safe mode' after respring and reboot, regardless, on ipad 2.
