Orbicule has released Witness 2, a major upgrade to its home surveillance solution for Mac and iOS.
Here's how it works:
Witness turns any Mac into a home alarm system, using its FaceTime camera as a motion sensor. If motion is detected, Witness sends mugshots and video to an iPhone or iPad.

Umm... so you leave your phones etc in your home when you go out?The whole point of an alarm, is to stop intruders in home or identify them to help police.If you're talking about if someone snatches your iOS device, there is already an app for that, you likely just haven't been looking.
