We had heard rumors that Apple was looking to put handwriting recognition into the iPhone based on a Handwriting Recognition Engineer job listing on Apple's site. If the rumor becomes a reality then that would be awesome, but for now we don't not need to wait for Apple to release...

Yes it does have some problems recognizing our western chars. Plus it takes longer than just typing with the keyboard.

But the app definitely has a lot of potential if its tweaked.

The Chinese recognition is surprisingly accurate. Plus the iphonecake.com repository has some other cool apps if you can read Chinese. I am glad that I found this on you site. Keep up the great work.

Double check your link when you type it, sometimes the iphone's auto correct features mass it up.Mike

Its a nice app. However with this app you will not be able to get the uppercase letter 'A' :( as the shift key does not work for the alphabet 'a'. Have to depend on HWpen to get the upper case letter 'A'.

I tried this application on a friend's Iphone and it was awesome. Lots of fun and very convenient. Even for a person like who has pathetic handwriting. hehe.

Yeah this is all very good in theory, but the problem comes when you want to simply move the note to other applications like todo etc..
This cut n paste problem is getting right on my fookin ****..
