Leaked iPad 3 Screen Has 2048x1536 'Retina Display' Resolution
Until now, we have seen a number of photos of LCD displays claimed to be for iPad 3, which is widely expected to come with a high resolution Retina Display, none of the sources have been able to confirm if the LCD displays will sport double the resolution (2048x1536) of iPad 1 and iPad 2 (1024x768).

Whats the point!? Sharp is already enough...does Apple inc. facilitate free lasix operations so i can truly benefit of this ultra sharpness??? It will f****up a lot of app icons and the highest resolution of today's content is not more than 1920 x 1080. So again WHATS the point. It will take at least another 3 or 4 years before 4K resolution content will be available for the global consumer markets.

Better detail in photos, streaming video, crisper text when reading webpages, etc .... Website text on my iPhone is much easier on my eyes than the same text on my iPad. Its not all about apps, its about overall user experience.
